Trouble saving

I am working on a 18×24" sports poster in Photoshop (CS2) and when I try to save it I get this message "Could not complete request because of a program error". Any suggestions? Need help fast…please.

Need help fast…please.

some things to try:

try saving as a new name…

saving locally (not on a network)…

try saving to a different drive…

close ALL other apps and try to resave…

reset the preferences per the FAQ…

reboot…

Sometimes, just doing a Select All > Copy, then pasting into a new document and saving from there works for me when I get weird stuff like that (a lot less frequently for me now with CS3 — unlike the experience of some here. I consider myself lucky for that).
