Does any one here know the font name in the logo in this URL: http://www.mysql.com

I’ve been search for it for the whole day, but still can’t get it as I can’t recognize it.

You can probably find out very quickly simply by sending an email to:

and asking them what typeface they’re using. The logo itself was designed by a Finnish advertising agency; it’s possible that those letters were created just for the logo and aren’t part of a typeface.

Offhand, it reminds me of Microgramma or Eurostile. One of those, as I recall, has no lower case, so the other one might give you a similar feel, if not an exact match. Well, it’s not Eurostile: see <http://www.fonts-free.com/font/eurostile.html>. Nor is it Microgramma: <http://www.linotype.com/1234/microgrammaef-family.html>.
