How about pointers to creating my own galleries. I have used all of the existing galleries in PE3 and I don’t want to keep re-using the same old same old. I tried copying a gallerie to a new name, editing it, and then opening PE3 organizer and creating a new web gallery, but it doesn’t recognize that I have a modified gallerie out there. Is there sometihng else I need to do? Is there some cache or index of available galleries tha PE3 reads when it starts?

The export command is there in case any third party plug-in needs it. PE/PS don’t. Vera, just put your photos in a folder (export from iphoto if you’re using that program) and go from there. There are a number of gallery-creation/thumb creation programs at versiontracker.com. Many people prefer JAlbum or Thumbs Plus to the PE web galleries.
