Error Msg when using filters

When I open a filter ie Sharpen or a plug in ie. Genuine Fractals, I get error Msg. saying " file is damaged and cannot be repaired" but then it allows me to run the filter or plug in. I reinstalled my preferences to no avail.

Btw I am using CS3 with Mac-Intel, on Mac Pro. Os is Leopard 4 gig memory.

This just started recently. I put in a demo of Alien Skins Snap Art.

Anyone have any ideas.

I also removed the Snap Art.
Very frustrating.

Reinstalled everything and restarted computer.
Error Message gone.
Thanks anyway.
