I am having an odd problem with the color picker when i double click on the foreground or background color. I used to get the entire spectrum of colors in the middle (long skinny) bar (in the window that opens up). something must have changed, now i only get a very limited color spectrum and its based on the color i double clicked on. i.e. if the foreground color was yellow, that long skinny bar goes from white (at the top) to yellow (at the bottom)
how do i get the entire spectrum of ALL the colors back? i do not have "only web colors" checked
thanks

This should do it:

When you’re in your color picker, click around with the HSB, RGB, and LAB radio buttons… One of these should get you back to the colors your familiar with.
