I am sorting some photos for a competition, these will be displayed via a projector.

I have to reduce the pixels to 768 x 768 and then I have to go to Image>Mode>Convert to profile and convert the image to sRGB.

Convert to profile is not on my drop down list on PSCS2, Can someone help me here please.

Thank you in advance

Moira

Thank you once again Mike, I did wonder if that was the one, it seems that the SLF didn’t proof read!

(Did you have a letter printed in the Daily Telegraph recently?)

Angry from Fleetwood? Might have done 😉

If you are showing the pictures through a projector attached to a PC then you should have no need to convert the profile as all the necessary is handled by the graphics driver. Think about it, if you can see them OK on a monitor then you should have no problem viewing through a projector. I do slide shows all the time at school and have never yet had to change anything re profiles.

The club has a digital projector, and the problem is with the various colour profiles from the members pcs. The SLF has its own rules which we have to adhere to.
