I would like to know how to select all of my unused layers in Photoshop.

Not quite an answer to the question but…why doesn’t Photoshop have the feature found on Illustrator where you get the warning "Layer XX contains artwork" before you delete it.

Then you are certain that it is an "unused" layer"

One way I check to see what (if anything) is on a layer is to command click the layer to see if anything gets selected.
