zoom tool runs wild

Often, when zooming in on an image using the zoom tool, suddenly it displays, like it swallowed Viagra, something like 636% or 754%.

When my wife sees what is happening, she is always quietly smiling behind my back. I don’t like that kind of smiling.

How about your -no, not your wife-, zoomtool? Or, what am I doing wrong.

Leen, with the Zoom tool active, holding down the mouse button and dragging on the image will cause such wild zoom numbers. Is that perhaps what you were doing?

If you have a sticking left mouse button and move the mouse just a bit it will do that.

As far as wives go … yes they all do that, it is part of their special training they got as they grew up at Saturday Morning Girl’s School.

Resetting their preferences won’t help, I suppose?
Besides, I haven’t a clue how to reset her. There is no CTRL button.
