First, let me set the scene… When I was in college, I bought an education version of PhotoShop 5.5 from my campus book store. About a year or so ago, my brother bought a copy of PS7. My brother is, unfortunately, no longer with us and I sort of inherited his programs, but not the codes they came with. I was just wondering if my codes for 5.5 will allow me to run 7 before I start installing something I can’t run.

You need the specific serial number for Photoshop 7. If it’s a Photoshop 7 Upgrade, you’ll need both the numbers for version 5.5 and for the version 7 upgrade.

If your brothers copy of PS7 was registered, Adobe Customer Service MAY be able to help.
