I need some effects help. I am designing a page and I want to utilize the effects seen in the upper left hand corner of this image CLICK HERE < http://mi.oakley.com/site/templates/images/background_homepa ge.jpg>.

What I am mainly referring to is the torn and linen look of the darker grey layer, the rest I have figured out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You could ty aplying a few filters to a gray layer such as

Texturizer with canvas, then a cross hatch, then torn edges, and finlay adust the opacity and rub away some edges.
