pasting vectors from Illustrator

I have this problem every time I get a new computer or reinstall Photoshop, and I can never remember how to fix it. How do I get it so that when I paste a vector object from Illustrator into Photoshop, it presents me with a choice of wether to paste it as a vector object, a path, or as pixels, instead of just automatically opting for the latter?
