In PS 7 I made a custom style that I want to bring into PS CS. I still have PS 7 on my machine, can still use the custom sytle, and have looked for the name I gave to the custom style in the finder but I can’t find it in a search. I had been hoping I could just drag and drop it from an old folder to a new folder and then make use of it. That is probably what I actually *can* do – but I don’t know the trick.

Is there any help out there?

Why not save out the style from PS 7 and load it into 8?

You do still have it active in 7 right?

Did you save it? In other words, did you make a .asl file? You can make a set of one or more in the Preset Manager and save it, then copy that file into the Presets folder in CS.

Be sure to save your current palette first before making a new one.

Your help did it. Thanks a lot! It now works fine. This is another one of those things that I knew how to do once, and then through disuse, forgot. Thanks again.
