I use ACDsee to select my preferred photos.
I first make contactsheets in ACDsee (12 images per sheet)

I miss a tool to put a red dot under the frames that i like.

Does someone know of a similar fast program that can do that ?

You might take a look at the free FastStone image viewer 3.5 at http://www.faststone.org/

While it doesn’t print a contact sheet with red dots, it does allow you to tag images and then view only the tagged images. A contact sheet can be printed from the tagged-only view or of all images.
