Apply a Red/Blue channel swap using the channel mixer.

I’ve not had any experience with channels. I’m trying to follow instructions, such that "from Photoshop CS, apply a Red/Blue channel swap using the channel mixer."

Can anyone explain how to do this in simple terms, or point me in the right direction?

Do just that — in the destination red channel, set the source to be just the blue channel. And in the destination blue channel, set the source to be just the red channel.
