I have a new G5, with 3 Gb RAM, but when I go into the preferences to allocate more memory to it, it doesn’t show that I have 3Gb RAM, instead it says that I can only allocate 1814Mb of RAM…but the actual computer sees the whole 3Gb of RAM. Any suggestions??

Thanks

Although P’shop CS touts Color Matching between layers, I cannot find pertinent info on this in the index of the User Guide or under Help-where I was told it was on my desktop. Also I’m getting an error message indicating I don’t have enough Ram (I have 75% of 385Mgs devoted to P’shop) when I try to import. I have never had this problem before CS. Suggestions?

385 MB of RAM is indeed very little.
