When u select a layer an press "ctrl +m" in Photoshop 8 u a u make a selection og the stuff in that layer! when u du the samme in Photoshop cs9 u edit "curves"
How do i get the "ctrl +m" funktion from PS8 in PS9?

Ctrl-M has always been Curves. I think you remember wrong. To do what you want Ctrl-click on the thumbnail icon in the Layers palette.
