I am using a legally installed Photoshop CS application. After an hour of working on a photo I received the following message with an "Adobe Activation" heading: "An error has been detected and the product cannot continue. Please reinstall the application." I’ve reinstalled Photoshop
application." This is followed by a message asking if I want to save my work but doesn’t allow for changing the name of the file. Needless to say I lost an hour of work.

Has anyone else had this problem?

it’s been reported a few times, but no real resolution and no one has been able to reproduce. afaicr, everyone w/this prob has rebooted their systems and the problem went away. i imagine irritating would be a mild word for it though.

One thought I had a problem at first and it had something to do with IE not being my default browser I think, or it could have been firewall.
