I have Photoshop CS but I have not seen Photoshop Album 2.0 yet. I also have ACDSee 6.0 and like its ability to do quickie file views and other file editing stuff. However, any meta data I load into ACDSee is not compatible with CS.
Does CS already have all the features of Album 2.0 or would I get some benefit from purchase of Album 2.0. My primary goal is for quick file reviews/deletes/etc and input of meta data. Would not expect to use any of its available editing features.

I believe Adobe has a shareware version of Album 2.0 on their web site that you can download. Try it out and see if it’s what you expect before you buy it.
