I am using an older version of Adobe Photoshop 5.5. My need is very simple. When editing any image, by default there is always a black border box around the image. I need images that have no borders. Any idea where I turn off this default.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Adam,

That ‘border’ isn’t part of the image, just marking the edges of the canvas. It will only be visible within Photoshop and will not print or be visible in any other application.
