I just reinstalled Photoshop 5 (yes its old) and when ever I do something that would require a confirmation or alert >box, I get the message "Could not load alert resources", and it wont let >me do what i was going to do. An example is deleting something from >history.

Is there a file I can download to replace my alert resources or something?
