Although I overwhelmingly use Photoshop CS, I also installed a copy of the Photoshop Elements 2.0 because it has a few interesting features not found in its big brother. For some strange reason the two programs seem to interact and Elements takes on the dominant role, in that its picture file format takes over my Photoshop picture files.
Some of Element’s presets become an unrecognizable part of Photoshop CS. It was only after I uninstalled Elements, and re-installed Photoshop CS over itself that the program maintained its full identity.
Does this mean that if I want full Photoshop functionality, I should avoid installing Elements?
