Dear all,

I'vw read a book demonstrating Planar Tiling with kpt 3.0 Is it available for kpt Effect 7.0?

Moveover, is kpt Effect 7.0 the advanced version of kpt 5.0, or any difference?
Coz I couldn't find the Planar Tiling option in kpt Effect 7.0

Thanks,
P

Haven't seen KPT 7, but I know for a fact that all the previous editions of KPT had almost nothing in common. with eachother. Each version of KPT is a whole new unique set of filters, so you can have multiple versions without anything being duplicated. The good news is that all of the KPT filter-sets will work in any version of Photoshop, including those written after those filters were created. (I currently have 3, 5, and 6 installed, using PS7.)

Strictly speaking that's not quite true. Many years ago I bought KPT-2 which worked fine for me originally but then it wouldn't install when I got a bigger hard drive. I called tech support and they politely pointed me to a workaround. When I installed a new OS some time later I had the same problem but when I contacted tech support for the workaround I was rather rudely directed to purchase KPT-3 which I was told, more or less, was the same as ver-2 with a nicer interface and some "new stuff". I didn't do it, in fact I posted the emails I got from KPT as a warning to others about their support. They got bought out, so water under the bridge. Not that it matters now but I always wondered what the original KPT (1) was like. Anybody reading this ever have it?
