Hi There!
I’ve been going crazy trying to find a way to import data from a text file into IPTC/File Info fields on WinXp.
I have tried all the available image editing and media cataloging packages. None will do the job, though some might if I was an expert in Visual Basic or some other scripting language (which I’m not!).
I’m not alone since Josh Culhane sent the attached post earlier this year, but no response.
Any ideas would stop me tearing all my hair out!

Hi, I’m new to the boards so I apologize if this has been discussed before…
I need your expertise advise.
I’ve been trying to figure out a way (solution) to get a delimited text file containing descriptive information to match up to the IPTC fields in Photoshop 6.0.
All of the files are in Photoshop EPS (.eps) format. I also need to maintain a clipping path.
I’m not a programmer, but I am familiar with some of the lingo, so please respond in language familiar to earth folks
Let me know if I need more info to Help.
