Distort text or image along bézier paths?

I have the same question as someone back in 1999 - is there any plugin or app that lets you distort things more versatile and more precise along bézier curves? I have a text layer that has perspective as well as bow-like distorsion, at the bottom more than at the top (very alike the Tomb Raider Logo). I have Photoshop 6, but you can only apply one distorsion effect to a text layer at a time. The only workaround I found was either sticking to paths for this tricky part or using a 3D program - the latter doesn't handle text very well.
