Help! System crashes when using Liquify! Photoshop 7

Hi all,
I'm running Photoshop 7 on Windows 2000.

When I first installed it and clicked on the "Liquify" plug-in, the whole system would instantly shut down.

I've since put the scratch disk on a seperate drive to Windows and now the Liquify plug-in will start, but when I try to do anything with it, the system shuts down.

Can anyone help me?
