On the preferences I´ve choose on the "Painting Cursor" the "BRUSH SIZE" mode. It ussually appears on that mode but sometimes, and I don´t know why or how, it changes to the "PRECISE" mode.

This change it occurs on the file window, not in the PREFERENCES window. What I mean is that I see the cursor like "PRECISE" but when I go to the PREFERENCES it remains on "BRUSH SIZE" mode.

Does anybody can help me??

Thanks

Jorge

You must have hit the ‘Caps Lock’ key by accident. This is the Hot Key that toggles precise mode.

I, too, have experienced this problem. It is super frustrating. Thanks for the response but no, I’m not hitting the "caps lock" key. I teach photography at a high school with sixteen identical Mac G4 DP machines. 3 of the machines show the "precise" cursor for no apparent reason even though the "brush size" is selected in Prefs.
I’d love to see a solution posted for this one!
