Odd behavior in CS2

I happened onto an Adobe site
(http://www.adobe.com/downloads/cs2_downloads/index.html) offering free downloads of Photoshop CS2 and Illustrator CS2 along with other Adobe components and grabbed the Photoshop and Illustrator files (I didn't own Illustrator) due to the remarkably low price! Upon investigation it appears it is indeed a genuine page from Adobe's website although they do say the free apps don't allow the upgrade discount and don't include tech support.

I noticed that when first loading the Photoshop CS2 app the title bar for the application was the usual translucent style of Windows 7 but that after loading an image it turned opaque like earlier versions of Windows. It's not a big deal but I'm curious as to what might cause that strange behavior.

Anyone here have any thoughts?

Just a guess... PS CS2 probably does not support aero mode so it switches to old windows mode.

I have a feeling that many of us have moved on from PS2 for different reasons. In my case it was a move to Intel Macs. So my Photoshop progression looks something like this;
PS7-->CS-->CS2-->CS4-->CS5

So I haven't had CS2 on any of my machines for some years now, and as a result I haven't see the "strange behavior" of which you speak.
