I would like to upgrade from PS v5.0 to PS v7.
Can't afford to get PS7 -AND- a new computer at this time.
Current set-up:
Win98
P2-400mhz
384mb ram
5gb free on hd

In theory I don't see why it won't work. BUT, whether you will see any real benifit. On a machine that slow and gain in the program will be lost in the how slow it runs.
I would like to upgrade from PS v5.0 to PS v7.It depends what you mean by work. If you mean will it launch, then yes it will. If you mean can I get anything done in a reasonable time....

I don't really think the bottleneck is in the computer - my SGI 320 should run like a demon compared to my laptop when I am running PhotoShop& - speed was almost exactly the same
but then maybe I am doing something wrong, which is extremely likely :)
