The newly-launched Type-Expertise site is dedicated to the new Universal Font Classification System, but also hosts forums dedicated to a variety of font topics, as well as providing news about font releases. The UFCS itself is an attempt to solve the perennial problem faced by users of Photoshop and other graphics and page-layout applications — what is the right font to use for my design, and if I don’t have it on my system, where can I buy it?
