creating polygons which are perfectly aligned to reality – with solution

Just in case anyone else is tearing their hair out with this.

When I was creating polygons, they were turning all kinds of ways, and I couldn’t get them just perfect, even the rotation wasn’t fine enough…

Solution: press shift as you are creating the object. If you are creating an elipse, it will be a perfect circle. If you are creating a rectangle, it will be a perfect square. And if you are creating a polygon, it will give you rotations relative to the angles of the polygon, so you can twist it until it is aligned with horizontal, vertical, or whavever plane is relevent to your object.
