I would like to get more info on the Agfa Proslide 35 film recorder. I searched extensively both the web and newsgroups but very little info is provided. A surplus is selling it to me at a good price.
I will run it under Windows NT 3.51 because these are the only drivers/software it comes with.
1- What’s the best Adaptec SCSI card for this film recorder? 50-pin or 68-pin? scsi-1,2,3?
2- Is it a "true" 4k film recorder?
3- Is this Agfa Proslide 35 a quality product to create slides from 4 megapixels .TIF photo files?
4- Can it record negative film also?
5- What types of 35mm film will it accept?
6- Where can I get its operating manual?
This film recorder has also a GPIB interface (IEEE-488 or HPIB).
7- Is this GPIB interface better over scsi?
If yes then I’ll get an HPIB card instead of SCSI, since I don’t plan to have other scsi devices on this computer.
Thanks for answering some or all of my questions
