Which Print Processor?

I print a lot of photo realistic graphics and I’m using an HP 800PS. Which print processor will deliver the best quality and/or speed? It seems to take a very long time from the time I submit the job until it actually starts printing. All settings on the printer are correct, I’m just wondering if I should be using another processor.
