Hi. In PS7

I am wondering if you can change a photo whether grayscale, rgb or cmyk to only one color. I know you can go under the Hue/Sat. adjustment feature with colorize checked, but I was looking to get a specific pantone color.

If I get the cmyk value percentages from clicking on the foreground color (the pantone color I want), it also has the Hue/ Sat/ Brightness values. Will these values give me the correct pantone color or is there another way?

Thank you.
Jules

You need to go to grayscale first, then duotone. Choose the monotone option and your Pantone color.

Save as PSD or EPS depending upon what you’re going to do with the image.

Thank you. I can’t believe I didn’t think of monotone.
That worked great.
