I’m running CS2 on Windows XP and using Nikon cameras (D70 and D2Xs). Until 11/21/08, I could use Windows Explorer to display the "Date Taken" information for files in the processed JPG directories. Something changed on that date and JPG files created since then no longer display the information, but the EXIF is intact (can see in Bridge, CS2, and when uploaded to Smugmug).

That may have been when I realized the time inside the camera hadn’t changed for DST, or it was when I downloaded an update to CS2 from Adobe. (I believe it had to do with camera RAW files.) I’m most suspicious of the CS2 update since neither camera will display the date created in Windows Explorer after 11/20/08.

I’m hoping that someone here has experienced the same thing and can tell me how to get this information to display again.

Thanks much,
PJ.
