Hi, I’m hoping someone can point me in the direction of some good basic tutorial software for my daughter. She has been using PaintShop Pro for a while, and has picked up some pretty advanced techniques pretty much by trial and error. A little while ago I got hold of a copy of PhotoShop CS2 for her, but she’s not finding it a comfortable experience.
I’m looking for a piece of tutorial software on DVD or CDRom that will get her started with good, solid foundation techniques, rather than a collection of tips, shortcuts and advanced tricks. I think (hope!) that with a strong understanding of the basic principles she’ll find CS2 more accessible, and start working on some of her projects with this more professional program. Is there anything on Amazon.com, for example, that would be a good place to start?
