I am still pretty much of a newbie at Photoshop. I have read the appropriate section of Adobe's 'Classroom in a Book' and have viewed a couple of tutorials online, but I still can't grasp what the primary difference is between the Magic Wand Tool and the Quick Select Tool. They both seem to do just about the same thing.

What is the difference? When should one be used instead of the other?
