Photoshop CS3 Tablet problems

Hi.
I have a Laptop (HP PAVILION DV6000, Dual-core at 2 ghz with 2 ghz of ram) and Windows Vista Home Premium Pre-Installed. The thing is...i get myself a digital tablet NGS CADBOY ULTRA, it has 1024 pressing levels. Windows Vista has its own drivers for tablets (Tablet PC) but with those, Photoshop doesn´t recognise the pressure (it makes the same size making a lighter pressure than in a stronger one), When I download the NGS CADBOY ULTRA drivers for windows vista, it installs a program for pressure recognisement, but Photoshop stills making the same size, even with the brush properties marked as "By pressure control" and, as an added problem, my computer takes minutes to shut down when i install those ngs drivers, but not once, every time i turn off the computer, it takes too long, if i haven´t got those drivers installed, the computer turns off at a normal speed .What can i do?

Any reason you didn't get a Wacom?

I purchased a Wacom tablet (I think it's the Graphire) and I'm having the same problem. After installing the Wacom software, Windows XP lists it as a "Pen Tablet" but Photoshop doesn't recognize any pressure input.

I checked and the "TabletServicePen" service from Wacom is enabled, so I don't know why the pressure sensitivity isn't working. Anyone else have this issue?

with ps open, open the wacom control panel and add photoshop as a supported app... you may need to restart both the driver and ps before it takes effect.
