Hi – I have a weird problem in Photoshop and after an hour of searching am no nearer to finding an answer on line than I was at the start.
The problem: The True Type font Gautami functions perfectly well in MS Word, but in Photoshop 7.0 it will type only numbers and punctuation marks, but no letters. It types blank spaces in lieu of letters. When you highlight these Gautami letters and change the font, the letters appear in the new font, then disappear again when you go back to Gautami. I’ve trashed the Photoshop preferences file, and I’ve removed and reeinstalled Gautami in the Fonts folder in the Control Panel. Still no luck. I’m running Windows XP Professional.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance for any help.
