Opening CR2 files

I took some RAW format photo's and now cannot open the files listed as CR2. How do I open these files
I have Photshop 7 installed but will not recognise the format

What ACR version do you have? also what camera.

CR2 files are a Canon RAW file format common to all Canon digital dslr's. Zoombrowser, the Canon file handler will 'develop' RAW CR2 files. This software should have come with the camera on a CD.

I have the 350D too.
PS7 cannot open those files.
You can download the DNG convertor.
Once converted, PS7 should be able to open the files and threat them as Raw files.
Or you can upgrade to (minimum) CS2.

Thank you all for your contributions
After all this I have decided to stay with the Zoom browser software that was supplied with the EOS350 Rebel

This has the facility to decode RAW files.
I am concerned that The Adobe may conflict with my current settings and render every thing useless
