Symbols etc

Where do I find symbols to insert such as bullets, stars etc.

I am preparing a rolodex card and has to be done w/photoshop for the printer and i want to add round "bullets" between some of the words!

start> programs> accessories> system tools> character map.

symbols available vary by font.

there are some inside photoshop when you create shapes.
