Hello NG,

my daughter has Photoshop CS3 extended and, unfortunatly, the operating system of her computer is Vista and crashes down sometimes. Is there a possibility to create an automatic function to save psd- files for example every 10 minutes? Thanks a lot,

She needs to take a look at the system event log in admin tools to see what is causing the system to crash and if possible sort that problem out first. What happens if she is working on an image that ultimately, she decides she didn’t want the changes saving to?
I have seen the auto save function in MSWord cause more problems than it resolves for the above reason.
Any auto save function needs to save itself to a copy of the file not the original.
Anyway, how long does it take to hit control+S, a good habit to get into on flakey systems.
