why when you select more than one layer with the shift key you cant change the layer style on all of

think that adobe should make it able to take and select more than one layer and not only put a filter on all of them at once but also change the layer style to all of them at once. you can already scale and move all of the selected layers wich is good but it would be a nice feature to be able to do other stuff with the selected areas.
