It is my understanding that Photoshop uses twunk.exe in its twain importing but I keep getting a message when Vista (64 bit) starts that twunk_16.exe will not run on my system (which isn't a suprise). I have tried to delete or rename it but I can't. Any suggestions? Will this be "fixed" in the upcoming 64-bit version of Photoshop? Thanks for any help.

what version of photoshop do you have?

most likely it won't be needed or be there at all so in that sense, yes, it'll be fixed.

You need to update your scanner software to 64-bit.

ID.Awe is right, I had the same problem...uninstalled and then reinstalled updated drivers for my Epson scanner and it solved the problem.

Just installed Photoshop Elements 6.0. I have the Vista-supplied driver for my printer (as instructed for 64-bit environments from the HP website). I did not have this problem before with CS, now I do with Elements. I'm confused why this new Elements version is having problems but the old CS version did not.
