Improve Anti-Aliasing of rounded rectangle corners?

Hi All

I want to create REALLY crisp and smoothly anti-aliased rounded corners to my rounded rectangles.

See this example :

The corners always look fuzzy and uneaven.

Any helps / tips to improve this would be appreciated.

How are you trying to do it?

Is that example what you want or what you are getting?

Photoshop version?

Thanks a lot for the quick response.

The example is what I'm getting, and not what I want.

To do that, I'm using the rounded rectangle tool, and then rasterizing the layer. I also, sometimes, "make selection" and then fill it.

Thanks

I think at that size and resolution, that is as good as it gets. Are you using this for the web or some other output?

If for printing, a higher resolution would be the required, and using vector art (again, depending on the final use).

OK

Maybe I'm asking / expecting too much.

Thanks a lot for the responses guys.

I'm still not sure exactly what you are asking or expecting. I can't say I see better rounded corners anywhere else on the web. This is for the web, right?

Sorry, yes its for web.

Its obviously a subjective thing, or it might even be the monitor I'm using, who knows.

To me, the rounded corners look like they could be sharper. But I've had a quick look round the web and the ones I can find look similar, so it must just be me! :)
