I’ve lost all color when inserting photos or color graphic files into my workspace. Everything "looks" correct, expect it’s in grayscale. Don’t know what I might have done to cause this change. Obviously hit a wrong key somewhere. Any suggestions on how to fix. BTW, Image, Mode, RGB is checked. Thanks!!

Jennifer,

Do you mean your photo’s are greyscale when you open them in PS, or is the whole user interface greyscale?

Hi Rob,
My whole user interface is in color like normal. When I open a new workspace, it also appears normal. When I add something like a background graphic, it opens in color, until I add it to my open workspace. It then appears in the workspace in gray. As an experiment, I opened an existing file, added a new graphic, and came in perfect, had color, etc. It’s just when I open a new workspace, whatever I add is gray.
Thanks, Jennifer

Any possibility that you are viewing just a specific channel in your workspace? If you go to Channels, is the RGB layer enabled?

(I don’t know if Channel settings can be saved in a workspace … I don’t have Photoshop installed here to test.)
