Auto recovery when PS3 crashes

Is there an auto recovery feature to recover work done when photoshop 3 crashes?

I worked for 4 hours without saving and it crashed and I lost everything. this is annoying and in this day and age, there should be a feature like microsoft word, where you can auto save every 10 minutes just changes you made or full save.

Don't do that again. There is no autosave. Photoshop isn't Word. Believe me, you would NOT like everything grinding to a halt every ten minutes. Save often at times of your own choosing. Hopefully you have learned a valuable lesson.
