I am late in trying to do my yearly family pics, and am trying to do four of the same photo at one time, rather than feed the paper in four times.

Can this be done in CS2 or 3, and if so, how?

File>Print>Number of copies?
Or do you want 4 images on the same sheet?
What size?
What size paper?
If you can get 4 on an A4 sheet, try the following.
Create new doc A4 resolution to match the images.
Open image and ensure 4 to a page.
When happy, hit Ctrl+J three times.
With the move tool (V) and the layer active, move layer around to fill the page.

Typo line 7
Open image and resize (Transform, Ctrl+T) to ensure 4 to a page. (You could also use the Crop tool set to less than half of the A4 (not A5) dimensions)
