resizing photos en masse

Hello,
If I want to resize all the images in a folder to the same dimensions, do I have to do them one by one or is there a utility that allows me to do them all at once?

Any help gratefully received.

Won't the resize option from MS Tweakui do that in Windows? It adds to the actions available with a right click of the mouse.

You might also want to take a look at one the Microsoft Powertoys apps, Image Resizer:

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppow ertoys.mspx http://download.microsoft.com/download/whistler/Install/2/WX P/EN-US/ImageResizerPowertoySetup.exe

Although not as sophisticated as the pixresizer app once installed you can simply do a "Select" of all the images you want to resize and right-click to "Resize Pictures" to the desired size in mass.

Go to the folder where you have the photos. Inside that folder, create another folder called ReSized and close the window.
In Photoshop Elements, Open the Editing window.
Click on File in the menu bar and click on Process Multiple Files. Use the browse button next to source and select the folder that contains your photos.
Use the browes button next to desination and select the ReSized folder you just created.
Go down to Resize Image To: and enter the sizes that you want for your finished re-sized photos.
Click OK and watch Photoshop work.
