Hello,

How do you save a file as a very high (1200 dpi) bitmap in Photoshop Elements. I am trying out version 4.0 right now. It allows you to save as a bitmap, but doesn’t give you a choice on dpi. I want to be able to save at a minimum of 600dpi, preferably 1200dpi. There were some options for how many bits (24 bit, etc.) but not the dpi, as far as I can tell.

Before saving, try:
Image > Resize > Image size
and enter a value for "Resolution."

There’s also a choice of ways to resample. PSE’s built-in Help explains this.
