I bought PS Elements 4.0 last week, but cannot get to run on my Mac (a
G5 iMac running 10.4.8 with 512 Mb of RAM). It seems to open OK but as
soon as I try to do anything I get the error message " An unexpected and unrecoverable problem has occured. Photoshop will now exit." twice
(one behind the other).

I have tried clearing out preferences, multiple re-installs and a clean OS re-install, but to no avail.

In console I get the following:

/Applications/Adobe Photoshop Elements 4.0/Photoshop Elements
4.0.app/
Contents/Resources/
This is interesting: /Applications/Adobe Photoshop Elements 4.0/ Photoshop Elements 4.0.app/Contents/Resources/
SysBreakStr: An unexpected exception has occurred.
SysBreakStr: An unexpected and unrecoverable problem has occurred (primary). Exiting.
SysBreakStr: An unexpected exception has occurred.
SysBreakStr: An unexpected and unrecoverable problem has occurred (secondary). Exiting.

Can anyone help?

THANKS,

Chris W
